The Forest Hill Park property located on Camino del Monte Road was dedicated to the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea on March 20, 1937 by Caroline Benson Ulander stipulating that the property only be used for park and playground purposes.

The playstructure shown here is made from recycled materials, the equivalent of 6,352 plastic containers, 12,470 aluminum cans, and 10,395 soup cans.
